Sep.22.2005 :: United for Peace and Justice Invite Scooter to Perform at Anti War Rally in DC
September 22, 2005- Shepherdstown, WV: United For Peace and Justice (www.unitedforpeace.org) has invited independent artist and social activist Scooter Scudieri to perform on Sunday September 25, 2005 during the End The War On Iraq events in Washington, DC this weekend.
United for Peace and Justice is a coalition of more than 1300 local and national groups throughout the United States who have joined together to oppose our government's policy of permanent warfare and empire-building.
Scooter Scudieri is the "most searched for" independent artist on the P2P networks. His anti war music video "Mother of God" has been downloaded more than 200,000 times. On September 1st, Scooter released an original song on the P2P networks entitled "This Too Will Pass" which raised $4,000.00 for the Red Cross to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina.
